Smile Instrument Cluster 1992 SSE problem

I have 1992 SSE with the typical dead instrument cluster. The tach and speedo work, and all else is dead.I have a spare cluster that died the same way,and would like to repair it and put it in the car.I see the tech info to guide me through this project is still not up and running.Could anyone give me some tips to guide me through the procedure,or anything specific to look for during disassembly and cleaning? Thanks in advance

To my knowledge there are no schematics available to the public on this. I've searched myself and never found any.

I had read somewhere that the instrument cluster needs to be carefully disassembled and cleaned, and I would assume cleaning anything that may be corroded and repair any poor solder joints. It seemed there was a procedure to do this, and took about 2 hours to do.It's that disassembly procedure I was trying to locate.I'm just looking for some pointers from someone that has had one apart before.I apologize for being misleading. Thanks again.

Ohhhh is that all. Heck piece of cake.

Pull your dash trim panel and the panel under the column. Lower the column by the main bolts an inch or two. Remove the cluster.

Once the cluster is out, remove the golden screws on the back and leave the black screws in place. Carefully wiggle the boards apart and watch the areas where they are hooked together by wires.

I have a pic of it apart somewhere..lemme look.

UPDATE:
I carefully disassembled the spare cluster I had,and cleaned any suspicious connections and touched up solder joints.Upon installation,I went ahead and clean the ground busses on the floor. The display still comes and goes.I guess it's time to send it in and get it repaired. If I knew what I was looking for specifically on those PCB,it wouldn't be a bad fix.Overall, the cluster looked really good inside

Hey first time poster here. I have a 92 Bonneville as well with the same exact symptoms, so I am assuming this is a common problem. How would one go about replacing this part? Any advised for a noob here?
Thanks
