Default Neeew

Hey everyone. I always like to keep to a forum when I buy a new car, so I decided this was a nice place to settle Im on LS1.com and Mustangforums.com as well. Anyways, my car. Its a 2003 Bonny SSEi, black on black with, i think, almost every option available. I absolutely love it! My previous car was a 2001 Firebird Trans am. I had around 400-450hp before trading it. After blowing the 3rd transmission I figured it was time to move on to something a little less expensive lol. To the pictures!

It was bone stock when i got it.

What i've done is upgrade all speakers (except tweats) to Infinity, painted all "Pontiac" and "Bonneville" intrusions silver, chromed the front grills, blacked out the rear middle tail, tinted the headlights, built a custom intake and swapped out the stock mufflers for flowmaster 4 chambers (dual/dual tips are in the mail).

Plans are pretty simple, I want rims and tires for it, 3.0 pulley, paint the calipers silver, and get a new CD deck. Maybe a couple other small additions here and there.

Here's what I traded in for the Bonneville, my 01 T/A.

Welcome to the forum. This picture looks great IMO. Nice job painting and the grill! From the looks of it you keep your cars very clean. Do you own a mustang?

Thanks guys! Both of them are very very clean. The TA was absolutely perfect. I owned a mustang before the Trans Am. It was a yellow 99 GT, I had quite a bit of money into that one too. Had to get rid of it when I blew the motor to pieces. Im a muscle car guy at heart, but my g/f is expecting so I needed to tone it down for a little while lol.

welcome to the 03 SSEI club. I see you have XM which is a rare option, do you have the changer in the trunk?

i have the XM, 12 disc in the trunk, heated seats, and HUD. It seems that most of the cars that were built were missing one of the options. do you have all of em?

ALSO you cant just drop to a 3.0 pulley. you need lots of supporting mods first. Start out with a 3.5

i have the following on my 03
Intense 3.4, Intense 180*, Intense FWI, Intense Street/Strip Shift kit, Dual Aeroforce Gauges, Dual Pillar Pod, SLP Headers, 3" Cutout, 60lb injectors, Innovate Wideband, HP tuners

with all thoes mods and LOTS of tuning i still run a 3.4 pulley

Thanks. I do have the XM option, and the changer in the trunk (Along with heated seats and HUD). It's detached right now, Im swapping in my changer I had in the Trans Am. I'll keep the stocker anyway.

I see.. I had a feeling it wasn't that easy, but i'm a ways away from starting to modify the performance anymore. I was going to do my research when the time came. But thanks for the heads up. What do you run in a 1/4 with your setup?
