my guage for oil pressure reads normal when i start it...and when idleing stays there for some time then goes to 0 and my oil lite is on....help me please 91 sse with 3800

It could be the oil pressure sending unit. Replace it. Also make sure oil is not leaking near the oil pressure sending unit or elsewhere. Mine was doing that until I replaced the sending unit and made sure it was tightened with plumbing tape on the threads
identical to that used on shower heads.
