Hello,

My 94 Bonneville needs some very heavy touch up paint (big spots down to primer) on the trunk and roof. I went to my spare tire and got the paint code, WA-U9805, and went to order it from some auto paint sites online. The problem being, I noticed that multiple places said this was a "tan" colored paint. Well, my car is green. I just bought it a couple weeks ago, but I'm assuming it has been repainted? Obviously, if the paint on the trunk and roof are in that poor of condition it hasn't been done very recently. I just want to find the paint that matches the current color! Any suggestions?

I would find a local auto paint shop. Ask them what you need.

I'm with Dan on this one.

Also try to find a high tech auto body and or paint shop. Reason I say that is all shops that have money will have a hand held paint scanner. They will take it to your car and scan the color, than go inside and hook the scanner to the computer via USB and print the paint mixing specs.

I've done this and it impresses the heck out of me everytime.

Thanks for the advice. What's the approximate price to get that done?
