Default Nighthwk12 visit

Last night Nighthwk12 aka Justin stopped by for a visit. We hung out discussed Bonnevilles, engines...silly ricers etc.

Found a few minutes to goof around with his car. He was a busy camper. Cleaned the TB, tossed a maf screen into it, we tried to change a couple settings in his pcm and it fought (we'll win the next time he's over), cleaned down the engine, tested coils and fuel pressure.

He was mentioning a fuel mileage issue, and we noticed the engine could have been running smoother.

It was...right up until we put the FP gauge on his car. I had him key click about 10 times and it got no better. Running it was about 5psi better. We then took the gauge over to my Regal to see if the gauge was bad. Gauge tested good. Then we checked the FPR by testing at the supply line where it would meet the rail.

20-25 with the key off, 28ish with the car running. His fuel trims had suggested something was off.

Soon, he'll be dropping the tank (poor guy thought he had a hatch to get to the pump) and swapping the pump. I'm looking forward to another good write up with lots of

It's a sabotage you guys need this write up . I found some money and doing the fuel pump tomorrow worked out great after going from central jersey, to bill's, to my girlfriend;s in naugatuck, and back to my house the gas tank is nothing but an empty shell. Consider the write up done by tomorrow
